Community Recycling Awareness Grant

About the Grant

The Community Recycling Awareness Grant was created by the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District to help local governments in Cuyahoga County promote recycling to residents.

Project Criteria

The District is seeking to fund public awareness activities that increase residents’ awareness and participation in community-sponsored recycling programs including curbside and drop-off recycling programs. Types of activities that are eligible include the following:

  • Recycling brochures, newsletters, fliers, etc.
  • Advertising
  • Video production or PSA production for community cable programming
  • Promotional materials (only if integral to an awareness campaign)
  • Resident mailings
  • New resident information packages
  • Recycling signs

If your recycling awareness project is not covered by the above description it may still be considered for funding. Please contact Diane Bickett at (216) 443-3714 to discuss your project.
