Follow That Trash
Each year, the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District tracks the movement or “flow” of nearly 1.5 million tons of solid waste from the point of generation to the point of disposal. This information is published in an annual Waste Flow Analysis that depicts the solid waste management “infrastructure” in Cuyahoga County. It shows who collects the waste from the curb, and how it moves through transfer facilities and landfills throughout Ohio.
Business details for the District including our Public Records Policy, District By-laws, a schedule of Board Meetings and Board Meeting minutes.
Solid Waste Management Plan
The Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management Plan is a document prepared by the District every five years to comply with Ohio law. The State requires the fifty-two solid waste districts in Ohio to develop long range plans to increase recycling and reduce reliance on landfills.
The District has produced several helpful videos to assist residents, schools, and businesses with recycling in Cuyahoga County.
