Assemblies
In the past the Solid Waste District sponsored environmental based school assemblies through hiring performers like
The Illusion Maker. The show's purpose was to be interactive, exciting, educational, and raise awareness of recycling. Currently, the assemblies are used as a prize for District sponsored contests.
If you need a speaker for Earth Day, career days or another event, our Education Specialist will be happy to speak to your class or group.
A PTA or other group can invite The Illusion Maker to perform his magic or game show. Below are the shows available.
The 50’s Rock-n-Roll Magic Show
A student tries to mimic the Illusion Maker, but can’t seem to get the crayon to point in the same direction.
Like this magic trick it is possible to help the environment through recycling.
Do You Believe in Magic? Show
Students help demostrate the magic tricks while learning to help the environment.

Who Wants To Be A Know It All? Show
